Augustine T. Marah is a seasoned educator, a professional translator, and the author of The Awareness of Your Human Potential. He has a rich international background and a career spanning over four decades. Originally from Sierra Leone, he began teaching in 1973 and later pursued formal teacher training at Milton Margain Teachers College. His academic journey took him to institutions across West Africa and Europe, including l'Université du Bénin in Togo and l'Université de Dijon in France.
After moving to Canada, Marah earned a Bachelor's degree in French and Political Science and a Master's in French Literary Translation from the University of Alberta. He taught French at the university level and worked in both the Edmonton Public and Catholic School Boards. From 1995 to 2015, he ran Alberta International College, a private school accredited by Alberta Education.
He's also a published author, with works like African Stories, Prayers and Motivational Poems, The Best Person I Can Be, and Think and Do What You Love Trilogy. Currently, he continues to share his passion for education as an ESL instructor with CIIRSA in Edmonton.
